Derek invites Cristina to go fishing with him. She accepts, which bothers Meredith. Meredith does not understand why Cristina would agree to go since she hates the outdoors. While on the boat, Cristina gets very frustrated because she cannot catch any fish. Derek calms her down and she confesses that she cannot stop her mind from running. She ends up catching 28 pounds of fish. Derek tells Cristina she is special and the breaks down and cries.
Mark propositions Callie for sex and gets rejected. Callie tells him that having sex with him makes her miss Arizona even more. Mark says the same, he thinks about Lexie when the two of them are together. Callie is offended and kicks him out. Mark tells Lexie that he misses her, but she says she feels otherwise. She asks Mark for help, and he tells her that he will only help her if she meets him for drinks. They end up getting drinks together and Mark kisses her.
Meredith is upset with Owen for not pushing Cristina to return to the hospital. Meredith yells at him during a surgery when he hesitates for a bit. Owen gets mad and tells Meredith to leave the OR. Meredith refuses, and then Owen has to kick her out. Luckily, she was able to finish up her last stitch. Teddie is helping her patient, Henry, get the surgery he needs because he has insufficient funds. She feels the need to help him since she feels she failed Cristina. Teddie tells Henry that she has great medical insurance and asks if he would marry her. He agrees. Arizona returns and tells Callie that she has given up Africa to be with her. Callie slams the door in her face.
