This episode of Grey's Anatomy begins with Meredith and Derek having a fight in bed. Cristina and Owen are joking around with each other in bed until they get interrupted by a call from Teddy. Mark and Lexie are having a good time cuddling in their bed.
Callie finds Arizona sitting outside her apartment. Arizona realizes that she wants her life to be back like it was, being with Callie and working at Seattle Grace. Both Callie and the Chief turn down Arizona's pleas. Teddy agrees to one of her patients, Henry, so he can get medical insurance. Teddy reaches out to Owen to be at their wedding as their witness.
While Cristina is sightseeing, she hears ambulance sirens go off. She runs to the sounds to see what is going on. She ends up at a school where many students were victims of a shooting. Back at Seattle Grace, Owen and Teddy await the arrival of the ambulance. They are shocked to see Cristina come out carrying one of the victims. It turns out that the person whose life Cristina ends up saving is actually the shooter. Dr. Avery storms out of the OR.
Arizona was called back to the hospital for help because they needed extra hands. Arizona is welcomed back to the hospital, but she now working with Dr. Stark. Arizona apologizes to Callie and asks for her forgiveness, but Callie does not forgive her. Lexie finally tells Mark that she is in love with him.
